In this guide for Era of Revival, we’ll discuss which skills you should unlock if you choose the Legion Commander speciality.
The goal of this guide is to help you get the most out of this speciality by choosing the skills that provide the greatest benefits in combat and alliance activities.
Best Skill Tree Path
You can refer to the pictures below to see the recommended skill path. Each picture has been marked to clearly show which of the two available skills you should choose at each level.
Follow the marked path to make the most effective skill choices for your Legion Commander build.

In this guide, we’ll compare the available skills at each level and explain why one option is generally better than the other. The goal is to prioritize skills that provide the greatest benefits in battle.
Level 1: Return Now vs. Train Now
Recommended: Train Now
Return Now allows your troops/squad to return to your territory immediately when they are outside it during relocation. Although this can be useful in certain situations, those occasions are relatively rare.
On the other hand, Train Now allows you to instantly train a certain number of troops at your highest unlocked training level once per day. At maximum skill level, it can instantly train 250 troops, providing a substantial advantage when preparing for battle or replenishing your forces.
Having additional troops available can help you sustain your fighting capacity for longer during extended battles. Compared to the limited situations in which Return Now is useful, Train Now provides more consistent value.
For this reason, Train Now is the better choice.
Level 5: Barracks Expansion vs. Infirmary Expansion
Recommended: Barracks Expansion
Barracks Expansion increases your Barracks capacity by 5% at maximum skill level, while Infirmary Expansion increases your Infirmary capacity by the same percentage.
Both skills are useful, but their actual value depends on the capacity of the respective buildings. Since Barracks generally have a higher capacity than Infirmaries, a 5% increase in Barracks capacity can provide a greater absolute benefit.
Both upgrades can contribute to troop sustainability during battles. However, having more troops available to fight is generally preferable to simply increasing the number of wounded troops you can accommodate.
Therefore, Barracks Expansion is the recommended choice.
Level 10: Frenzy vs. Emergency Treatment
Recommended: Frenzy
Frenzy increases your damage by 5% while in the Frenzy State at maximum skill level. In comparison, Emergency Treatment allows you to instantly heal a certain number of wounded troops.
Although Emergency Treatment can be helpful when you need to recover troops quickly, Frenzy offers a direct combat advantage by increasing your damage output under the required conditions.
In a combat-focused build, improving your damage potential is generally more valuable than having an additional emergency healing option.
For this reason, Frenzy is the preferred choice.
Level 15: Concentrated Fire vs. Intensive Training
Recommended: Concentrated Fire
Concentrated Fire increases the enemy’s troop casualty rate by 5% at maximum skill level, while Intensive Training increases your troop training speed by 15%.
Both skills have their uses, but their benefits are very different. Intensive Training helps you prepare troops more quickly, whereas Concentrated Fire provides a direct advantage during combat by increasing the enemy’s casualty rate.
A 15% increase in training speed can be useful when replenishing troops, but it does not directly improve your performance in battle. By contrast, increasing enemy casualties can make a meaningful difference in prolonged engagements.
If your priority is combat effectiveness rather than troop preparation, Concentrated Fire is the better choice.
Level 20: Wasteland March vs. War Supply
Recommended: Wasteland March
Wasteland March increases your march speed by 40% at maximum skill level during Royal City Scramble. This is a significant improvement that can help you move around the battlefield much more efficiently.
Faster marching allows you to reach combat sooner, withdraw or reposition more quickly, reinforce allies, and respond to changing objectives. It can also be valuable when capturing and contesting turrets.
In comparison, War Supply increases your daily resource plundering by 30% at maximum skill level. While additional resources can be useful, they are generally less important for players who have already invested heavily in their accounts and have well-developed resource production and gathering capabilities.
For a Legion Commander focused on competitive combat and alliance activities, the mobility provided by Wasteland March is much more valuable.
Therefore, Wasteland March is the recommended choice.
Level 25: Boost Morale vs. Reinforcement Speedup
Recommended: Boost Morale
Boost Morale increases your morale by 5% at maximum skill level. This can be a significant advantage in battle, where morale can play an important role in determining combat effectiveness.
On the other hand, Reinforcement Speedup increases your march speed when moving your squad to reinforce allies.
Although reinforcement speed can be helpful when responding to an ally who needs immediate support, its benefits are more situational. Boost Morale offers a more combat-oriented advantage and can be particularly valuable during important engagements.
For a general-purpose Legion Commander build, Boost Morale is the preferred option.
Level 30: Team Raid vs. Concealed Identity
Recommended: Team Raid
Team Raid increases the damage dealt by 5% at maximum skill level when initiating or joining a rally. This makes it a strong option for players who regularly participate in coordinated alliance attacks.
In contrast, Concealed Identity is an active skill that allows you to disguise yourself in battle for 30 minutes. It can help conceal your identity from enemies and make it more difficult for them to identify you through scouting or battle-related information.
However, concealment provides a more situational benefit, while Team Raid directly improves rally damage.
Since rally participation is an important part of coordinated combat, Team Raid is the clear recommendation for a combat-focused build.
Level 35: Full Power Buff vs. Reinforcement Enhance
Recommended: Reinforcement Enhance
Full Power Buff increases enemy soldier casualties by 5% at maximum skill level. Meanwhile, Reinforcement Enhance increases your troops’ ATK, DEF, and HP by 5% at maximum skill level when reinforcing your allies.
Both skills offer valuable combat benefits, so this choice depends largely on your responsibilities within your alliance.
If your primary role is to lead attacks and maximize enemy casualties, Full Power Buff is a strong alternative. However, if your alliance frequently relies on you to reinforce allies and support important defensive or offensive positions, Reinforcement Enhance becomes particularly valuable.
Therefore, Reinforcement Enhance is the recommended general-purpose choice, although Full Power Buff remains a strong alternative for players focused on inflicting casualties.
Level 40: Weakened vs. Charging War Flag
Recommended: Charging War Flag
Weakened allows you to weaken a certain number of enemy wounded soldiers. In comparison, Charging War Flag lets you place a flag on an empty area of the map, increasing the ATK of allied troops within its range by 2% for 30 minutes.
One of the most valuable aspects of Charging War Flag is its potential for coordinated alliance use. The effect can stack with flags placed by other alliance members, making it especially useful when your alliance organizes around a particular battlefield objective.
A shared ATK bonus can benefit multiple allies at once, improving your alliance’s overall offensive potential during important engagements.
While Weakened may provide a situational benefit, Charging War Flag offers broader utility in coordinated combat and can contribute to your alliance’s success.
For this reason, Charging War Flag is the recommended choice.
