Crystal Cluster Valley is an individual PvP event where players compete to collect as many Crystals as possible within a 30-minute session.
Event Basics
- The event remains open for 30 minutes after it starts.
- Players earn Crystals by:
- Defeating Plague Rats.
- Occupying Crystal Mines.
- Capturing Instant Crystal mines.
- Occupying the Sacred Cave near the end of the event.
- Event troops are automatically provided based on the highest level of your Barracks.
- Troops used during the event do not die, allowing continuous fighting without troop losses.
Crystal Mine Battles
- You cannot attack another player’s territory.
- You can attack Crystal Mines currently occupied or being attacked by other players.
- Successfully defeating another player at a mine allows you to steal the gathering opportunity.
Failure Penalty
If you repeatedly fail to capture Crystal Mines:
- Each unsuccessful attack counts as one failure.
- After reaching certain failure thresholds, your heroes receive debuffs.
- Failure counts gradually reset over time, removing accumulated penalties.
Plague Rats & Valley Skills
Plague Rats spawn throughout the map.
Defeating them rewards Skill Crystals, which are used to unlock Valley Skills.
Important notes:
- Valley Skills last only for the current event session.
- All skills disappear when the event ends.
- Each skill has two levels, but only one version can be selected.
- There are five Valley Skills:
- Skills 1–4 are passive.
- Skill 5 is an active ability.

Relocation
- One free relocation is available every 6 minutes.
- Additional relocations require Relocate Items while the free relocation is on cooldown.
Instant Crystal Mines
Special Instant Crystal mines appear in six waves at:
- 10 minutes
- 11 minutes
- 12 minutes
- 20 minutes
- 21 minutes
- 22 minutes
These mines provide a fast and efficient source of Crystals, making them a high priority whenever they spawn.
Sacred Cave
After 23 minutes, the Sacred Cave in the center of the valley opens.
- Every player may launch one rally to the cave.
- Players earn Occupation Points while holding it.
- The top 10 players with the highest Occupation Points receive a large amount of Purified Crystals.

Important Tips
1. Prioritize Plague Rats at the Start
When the event begins, focus on defeating Plague Rats instead of occupying Crystal Mines. Plague Rats are quicker to defeat and reward Skill Crystals, which are used to unlock Valley Skills. Unlocking these skills early greatly improves your Crystal-gathering efficiency throughout the event. Follow the recommended Valley Skill upgrade path to maximize your performance.
2. Unlock Valley Skills as Early as Possible
Valley Skills provide powerful bonuses that last for the duration of the current event session. Since they disappear once the event ends, unlocking them early allows you to benefit from their effects for the longest possible time.
3. F2P Player Strategy
Free-to-play (F2P) players should prioritize attacking unoccupied Crystal Mines instead of contesting mines that are already under attack by other players. As most F2P players only have one available squad, it is generally more efficient to focus on uninterrupted Crystal gathering rather than engaging in unnecessary combat.
4. Prioritize Level 4 Crystal Mines
Once Level 4 Crystal Mines appear, shift your focus from hunting Plague Rats to occupying these mines. They generate significantly more Crystals than Level 1-3 Mines and should become your primary source of points for the remainder of the event.
5. Make Smart Use of Multiple Squads
If you have more than one squad available:
- Send your main (strongest) squad to distant, unoccupied mines as they are more likely to be attacked.
- Send your secondary squad(s) to nearby mines, as they are less likely to be attacked by other players.
This strategy maximizes gathering efficiency while reducing interruptions.
6. Avoid Unnecessary Failed Attacks
Repeatedly failing to capture Crystal Mines increases your failure count, which can apply debuffs to your heroes after reaching certain thresholds. Avoid attacking heavily defended mines unless you are confident of winning. If possible, target weaker or uncontested mines to maintain maximum combat effectiveness.
7. Prioritize Instant Crystal Mines
Special Instant Crystal mines appear at 10, 11, 12, 20, 21, and 22 minutes into the event. These mines provide a large amount of Crystals in a short period and should be treated as high-priority objectives whenever they spawn.
8. Use Free Relocation Frequently
You receive one free relocation every 360 seconds (6 minutes). Use it whenever it becomes available to move closer to areas with a high concentration of Plague Rats and Crystal Mines. Reducing march time means more time spent gathering Crystals and less time waiting for troops to travel.
9. Stay Active for the Entire Event
Every second matters during the 30-minute event. Avoid leaving your squads idle. As soon as one task is complete, immediately send your troops to the next Plague Rat, Crystal Mine, or Instant Crystal Mine. Continuous activity has a significant impact on your final Crystal total.
10. Prepare for the Sacred Cave
After 23 minutes, the Sacred Cave opens in the center of the valley. Be ready to launch your rally as soon as it becomes available. Holding the cave earns Occupation Points, and the top 10 players by Occupation Points receive a large amount of Purified Crystals.
11. Aim for Personal Rewards First
Your first goal should be to collect at least 150,000 Crystals, which unlocks all personal milestone rewards. After reaching this milestone, continue maximizing your Crystal collection to improve your position in the event rankings and earn better ranking rewards.
12. Minimize Downtime
The players who perform best are those who keep their squads active at all times. Efficient relocation, quick decision-making, and minimizing idle time between marches can make the difference between an average and a top-ranking finish.
